Where I got my name . . .
I was born in Chicago, but moved early in my childhood to Lombard, graduating from Glenbard East High School.
I have always been in love with the 50’s era and earned my nickname at the age of 13 when I dressed the part! Although this is before my time– it’s the decade I love the best. Between my cousins and me, we spent our time listing to the oldies but goodies - 45 records and albums accumulated by our parents. Everything associated with the 50s became my passion!
I met my ideal match through the Crusin’ Knights car club (based out of the old Cruiser’s drive in - Lombard) and settled our family in Westchester where we have resided for the past 21 years! The Miss 50s title continues today and became my Corporate name.
I spent a great deal of my time growing up at garage sales, estate sales and flea markets seeking out that perfect item reflecting my love and passion. Years of searches taught me a lot about vintage items and now I incorporate my knowledge in my Company. My husband and I have also been active in real estate renovation and have purchased homes and brought them back to life.
